I&#039;m not sure I&#039;ll ever quite be able to reconcile the difference between killing an enemy in the defense of your country and slaying another person in a non-war setting.  That is, don&#039;t both of these actions - regardless of the underlying motivations or perceived needs - go equally against the 6th Commandment?

And if I could feel or be &quot;right&quot; in killing an enemy in defense of my country, why shouldn&#039;t I likewise be able to feel or be &quot;right&quot; about killing an enemy in defense of my community at home?  Is there really that much of a difference between &quot;patriotism&quot; and &quot;vigilantism?&quot;]]></description>
