Heck, it only takes about five minutes to do mine. Since my feet are visible every minute in Hawaii (‘cept on the tennis court, or during outrigger paddling), I like to keep ’em polished. OPI makes a great lacquer that doesn’t chip.. my fave color: “Rose to the ovation.” I apply it, then take a shower to loosen the excess… heck I’m a writer, not a pedicurist!

And soon enough, your little cutie will want her nails done!

Same here–gotta be red! It was especially comforting late in my pregnancy when my poor size 10s seemingly doubled in width. Once or twice a year I stray from my usual toe color (OPI’s “I’m Not Really A Waitress”, a gorgeous deep red with a hint of sparkle) because I feel like I should branch out. My toes look like someone else’s–I look down and don’t even recognize my own feet.

Hats off to the french tip. My hand shakes too much to pull that off. I need the forgiving nature of the solid shade.

I am a french tip girl for my toes, but I get the whole making your feet pretty thing. It makes me feel so good!

Me too. My finger nails might be pink or naked, but the toes need their red.

This is so true for me as well. It always has to be red too, no matter what color I decided to paint my finger nails. I even had this in my to-do list before I gave birth to Ryan… #7 Have DH paint my toe nails. You know I could not reach my toes at that point.
