That’s how I met two dear friends for life, also mothers of twins. One, Amy in Canada, is my dearest friend, but we have never spoken on the phone, and we like it that way. The other, Lisa in Colorado, actually came here on vacation and so we got to meet in person.

Oh gosh, there is Amsterdamn posting, FYI, he is a dear friend of mine for over 20 years. And you will find this interesting… He is an ID twin, and I am a fraternal twin. I had fraternal twins.

As for my wonderful cooking, I am actually a natural when it comes to Mexican (and only Mexican)- that’s the Southern Californian in me. But the “Tortilla Dip” that Lois raved about on Saturday is nothing but a casserole dish with a layer of cream cheese, layer of salsa and shredded Monteray Jack and Chedder cheeses put in the oven for 15 minutes. It’s a real tough recipe with lots of ingredients. Try it!

I really do have a large head. My family all does, actually. When my twin sister and I were young, our teachers traced the profiles of all the kids in our grade. They were head profiles. We stood in front of a light, the teachers traced our head and then we cut our heads out on black construction paper. Well, they decided it would be fun to hang all the heads up in alphabetical order around the cafeteria. There were all these little noggins until you got to the part of the alphabet where the two big headed twins were located. I mean, I knew ours weren’t tiny, but dang.
