It Must Be Morning Somewhere…

It is 4:45 p.m. and my morning sickness is still going strong.  It was like this with Olivia too.  It’s like my body wants to pay homage to all of the glorious mornings this wonderous globe has to offer.

Oh no, morning sickness is a whole different kind of nausea. I’m sorry it’s hitting you so hard. I remember when I was pregnant and sick all the time people would tell me “but this is a good sign that your pregnancy is going well.” But I learned that morning sickness is not something that any amount of words can make better. I had to laugh about your body paying homage to all the mornings though. :)

When I asked my mom why she used to hit us all the time she said it was because of the morning sickness. At least that’s what I assume she meant when she said she was sick of us.
Memo: Never have six kids. You can only really love two of them, maybe three at the outside. You end up outsourcing the raising of the little ones to the older ones, and that really is not good for them.

BTDT…I know what you are going through. Have you tried Zofran? It was my best friend from week 9 to 16. I didn’t go anywhere w/o it. I used to put one in my sock at work in case I needed it. Yuck.

Anyway, some of my nurse friends said that nausea means that it is a “good take”. (I.e., a strong PG) I guess that should have made me feel better. But at the time, not much – other than Zofran, made it better. Hang in there sister. Soon you shall have another healthy and pretty baby.

I haven’t been around much, CONGRATS!

I had morning sickness untill my 5th month with my son. I know there’s not much you can do except wait it out and eat potatoe chip and lemonade.

Really, I’m so happy for you, and very jealous at the same time.
