Please tell me US growers are naming some of their new apple varieties after countries. Stamped on the jug of juice in my refrigerator is “concentrate from Argentina/China.” This can’t mean what I think it means.

Actually, that’s a typo- it was meant to read, “Concentrate on Argentina/ China” You’ve got to watch those to countries, they’re up to no good.
I’m glad you’re back!
I mean, watch those two countries, of course.
Ah, you really can learn a lot from apple juice.
That’s frightening. What happened to apples from New York?
Amsterdam, heehee!
I am getting to be quite an old lady like my mama. She has never bought fruit or veggies from anywhere but the U.S. She mantains they have no guidelines on pesticides or fertilizers in any of those countries or Central or South America either.
I’ve begun looking for country of origin now and putting back stuff from foreign countries.
Glad to see you posting!
