Since announcing Sarah Palin as his running mate, John McCain seems to have become largely irrelevant. I’ve heard little analysis or commentary of the presumptive Republican nominee for president. When his name is mentioned, it is usually tied to ‘one toe in the grave’ remarks. I suspect McCain is going to live long enough for us to care about his position and policy plans. Lord help me for agreeing with Lindsay Lohan, but she is right when she says all of this tabloid style journalism about Palin is distracting from analyzing the real issues.

Perhaps after her speech tonight and all the analysis of it, this will die down a bit and we’ll have an opportunity to get back to the issues. That’s my hope!
PS: I think my comments are longer than your posts. Perhaps I need to take lessons from you on the concept of less is more :o)
Ha! Your comments are perfect, Tricia. My posts are short because I’m potty training my 2 year old right now. I don’t dare take the time to write more than a few lines at the moment. I can be pretty long winded. Peek through some of my archives for examples. I’m sure Fenger will pop by and reassure you I can be long winded.
I can appreciate your short but succinct posts, especially on politics. They cut to the chase and are spot on.
I am so tired of political banter from media sources I could throw up a lot!
Luck on the 2yo potty training.
Yes, Lisa can be long winded.
Ha! Thanks, Fenger. I knew you wouldn’t let me down. Stay dry with Hurricane Hannah on her way.
