Now That’s News

It’s being reported today on the major news outlets that mankind is to blame for global warming. Isn’t that a shocker? And here I thought it was all of the elephants tooting in Africa. Maybe now that we’ve identified the source of the problem we can finally get down to finding a solution.

My husband pointed out to me the other day how much the temperature spiked after 9/11 when planes weren’t flying. We’ve actually reached a point where we need pollution to keep from overheating. So pollution is destroying and protecting our environment at the same time. Hmmmm, talk about a pickle.

Part of me believes there could be validity to this claim but if you look at what scientists claim as they have studied temp fluctuations over the millienia, it shows dramatic spikes and valleys.. . from no sources other than nature. Do we we discount that info?
I am all for alterantive renewable sources of energy. Wind and solar power is so cheap! Why do we not have more done to mainstream those? And as I have read, natural gas is so plentiful, it should be cheap!!!
    Happy Weekend!

That is a pickle! The elephants tooting in Africa made me smile btw.

In the valleys of Utah, we get inversions, where the smog stays trapped in the valley for extended periods of time. It’s so gross and ugly when this happens. But oddly enough, the inversions make the most beautiful sunsets. So ironic.

Holland is a very small country with so much dairy cattle that the groundwater is almost entirely cow piss.
That is why there are so many yellow tulips.

Great video! Thanks for the link Michele. How sad. Truly.

Amsterdamn, see what we miss when you don’t comment here??? I’ll never look at a tulip the same.

didn’t Reagan spend millions of dollars trying to see if the tooting of cows led to pollution?

  6. Amsterdamn says:

I believe Reagan spent a trillion dollars- on Clairol orange hair color for men.
Giant, wet pools of cow poop, fermenting in the warm sun, generate signifcant additional CO2, I’m sure.
I don’t know why Reagan reminds me of cow poop. He just does.
